Rim Mounted/Deck Mounted Faucets

Rim or deck mounted faucets are installed in tubs that have pre-drilled holes in the rim or deck of the bathtub. Many people prefer rim/deck mounts because the faucet rests on the rim of the tub and does not take up space inside the tub walls. You can generally choose a deck mounted faucet with or without a hand shower attachment.

Free Standing Faucets 

Tubs that have no holes drilled in the wall or rim require free standing faucets. Free standing faucets look nostalgically "cool", and you can place it anywhere you like in relation to your tub.
